A guide to spotting a good strip club customer…
Joining the sharks in the tank
We’ve all seen them. The girls that can just smell the money. They always seem to get the guys that can afford hour after hour in the VIP room. What on earth is the secret? Obviously, they are bloody good at the job (see How to stand out and become the biggest earner in the club). Even if you are great at the job and the sell, however, if the guy doesn’t have the cash and left his credit card at home, you still aren’t going to make anything out of him. You can’t grab what isn’t there!
With this in mind, these girls must have more than the ability to sell a dance. They must be able to find the guys with cash in the first place. (Whether they walked in willing to spend it is irrelevant once these girls get their teeth in!).
Black ties and big lies
The adage ‘never judge a book by it’s cover’ is never more true than in a strip club. You see the rookies get over the initial shyness of their first few shifts. Before you know it, they display their inexperience. They are diving on every guy in black tie who walks through the door thinking they are going to get their massive payday. This is rarely the case. Black tie normally indicates some sort of dinner or event before the party is continued in the club. These men normally arrive in groups and their suits are rented.
The very wealthy have nothing to prove. If a customer walks in talking about the money he is going to spend and how much he owns, give him a chance to buy a dance and then walk away if they try to put it off. They are as much in their own fantasy world as the one you are trying to paint.
Details indicate a good strip club customer
The key is in the details like the watch, shoes, belts and ties and a knowledge of these items will definitely give you the edge. Someone is keeping it casual in jeans and t-shirt, and the rest of the girls are bypassing him. You are the one that spots the £40,000 Philippe Patek on his wrist, so you already have the advantage. Especially if he has been ignored.
Be wary of large groups
The reason I felt the need to point out group outings earlier in this article is because groups are generally not where the money is. The magic number is 1’s or 2’s. Single’s or pairs normally go to the strip club as a considered situation that they want to be in. In a group of 4+ guys the probabilities that every man in the group is wanting dances and not married/not into it/didn’t come because his mates dragged him in are fairly slim.
It is pot luck if you approach and you can get that one guy that flat out refuses to co-operate and so you have wasted precious time and missed out on the millionaire that walks in straight after them on his own. Even those that are in for dances sometimes feel embarrassed about looking too keen.
Stag parties are an anomaly. A bit hit of money can be made quickly with a stag show but this is competitive and be prepared to fight your way (figuratively obviously) to the top.
The numbers game
This is a rough guide to assessing the customers in the club so you don’t fall into obvious traps. Being overly picky can and will lose you money. Short of every customer providing a complete financial assessment at the door there is no definitive way to know who will provide you with the lucky night. Strip clubs are strange and often surprising places!
The safest bet is ultimately the numbers game. Leave no stone unturned. Approach every single customer in the club. This way you can be assured that your chances of finding the wonderful combination of money, and someone who wants to spend it on you, increases massively.
